Discovery of Migrant Bodies
Nine migrant bodies were discovered after their boat capsized on the Drina River, the natural border between Serbia and Bosnia. The search and rescue team found the bodies in Bratunac, a town in Bosnia.
Details of the Tragedy
The boat, originating from Serbia, was carrying around twenty-five migrants towards Bosnian territory when it sank early in the morning. Eighteen individuals, including three children, were found on the riverbanks.
