Explosions in Lebanon
A second series of device explosions occurred in Lebanon on Wednesday, September 18. At least twenty people died and 450 others were injured, according to the latest report provided by the Lebanese Ministry of Health late in the evening. The explosions took place in various locations, including the southern suburbs of Beirut, the Bekaa Valley, the district of Saïda (Sidon), and the region of Baalbek in the east of the country.
Hezbollah Impacted by Explosions
Following an attack attributed to Israel, which caused thousands of pagers to explode across the country, walkie-talkies belonging to Hezbollah members were affected this time. Sources close to the Lebanese Shiite movement and security sources reported the incidents.
