Michel Barnier’s Surgery
The French Prime Minister, Michel Barnier, underwent surgery for a cervical lesion over the weekend. Matignon announced that the results of the analysis would be known in a few weeks. The procedure went well, and Barnier has resumed his work at the Hôtel de Matignon. He will also be back for public activities starting with the council of ministers this Thursday.
Recovery and Return to Work
Despite being 73 years old, the Prime Minister wasted no time in resuming his duties. He had discussions with government spokesperson Maud Bregeon and Minister Nathalie Delattre on Monday.
