Paris and Rabat’s Efforts on Repatriation of Moroccan Nationals
Paris and Rabat are working to expedite the process of repatriating Moroccan nationals in France who are in irregular situations. This initiative aims to increase the number of successful repatriations, as stated by French Interior Minister, Bruno Retailleau, during his visit to Rabat on Tuesday, October 29th.

Following a meeting with his Moroccan counterpart, Abdelouafi Laftit, Retailleau expressed their intention to focus on improving identification procedures for individuals whose origins are not documented. French President Macron’s address to the Moroccan Parliament emphasized the necessity of natural and seamless cooperation between the two countries to combat illegal immigration effectively.
